Why I built it
I wanted one place to compare all the selling apps side by side, because I couldn't find one. Each platform explains its own fees, but none of them tells you whether you'd keep more money selling the same item somewhere else. So I built a calculator that does exactly that, using the real fees for UK sellers.
How the figures are checked
- Fees come from each platform's own fee pages wherever the platform publishes them. Where a figure isn't on an official page I could check, it comes from independent fee guides that agree with each other. The calculator page links to a source for every platform.
- The date the fees were last checked is shown at the top of every page. It currently reads 4 Oct 2026.
- When a platform changes its fees, I update the calculator and add the change to the fee change log.
- The results are estimates. Platforms sometimes vary fees by item, promotion or account type, so always check the final figure on the platform before you list.

This site isn't connected to or endorsed by Vinted, eBay, Depop, Etsy, Vestiaire Collective, Facebook or any other platform. Their names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe them.
The ranking is worked out purely from each platform's fees and the figures you type in. Nobody can pay to appear higher.
How the site makes money
Right now it doesn't. The site is free to use, with no adverts and no affiliate links, while I find out whether people find it useful. If that changes, I'll say so here and update the privacy page first. Any adverts or affiliate links would never change the calculator's results or the order of the platforms.
